Then I bought into Odyssey straight away, and was very disappointed because they neutered the stealth attack and basically forced you to engage most enemies in button-mashing defend/attack sparring combat.
No Bayek is the main character for the vast majority. There's scripted parts where you play as Aya and you can have Layla leave the animus whenever, but that's it.
Earlyon in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, players learn that the animus has trouble deciphering a male Eivor from Eivor for some reason. As such, the "canon" playthrough is the Let the Animus Decide

Thewhole freaking point of rpg games. Now because alot of the lore of assassin's creed valhalla is purposely made for interpretation heres my canon. Eivor varinson has always been a male. Historically he was always a guy but because their using his remains and because he is the sage reincarnation of the Aesir isu odin his dna is somewhat unique.
