I guess if you completely ignore PvE the expansions suddenly are worth a lot less, since for pvp they really only offer a single elite specialization per expansion, which I guess means that the HoT+PoF bundle is better than just EoD since it offers 2 instead of 1 elite specializations for the same price.
Basically, my first time purchase expansion (2016, buy HoT, upgrading free account to paid account), it need several days to validate my expansion purchase. My gems also delivered 2 days after my checkout date.

Strike missions: decent group content, though not as good as raids, the mechanics are very similar to fractals (ton of aoe circles everywhere and plenty of movement). TLDR; depends on what you're looking for. I think PoF and HoT are better value, but if you already have those and want some new content in the game then EoD is worth it. AnonnyM0use.
