Search this forum for others who have had problems when swapping radios. The problems vary and are not usually to do with the keys, but can be. The Multi Function Display all works, displays the time/date and when doors are open. The central locking inside of the car is all working just not the key fob. •
Both doors were difficult to open from the inside (from the seat) after 14 years. (56 plate, 101k miles) After reassembly of the lock, trimming the wire links and getting rid of the slack was easy by pushing the threaded sections in agains after pulling up slack. I levered these out of the clips with a screwdriver.
2003 citroen berlingo 1,9 multispace When i close the tailgate, it does shut and opens only when i lift the handle, but it will not lock either by the key or the central locking button, all other doors lock with the central locking, but not the tailgate. I would be grateful for any advice thanks •

Between 82-1551 & 82-1006, 1551 seems to pull in a little further by about 1mm so i went with that, works just fine, immediately stopping the engine.
There is a plastic plunger inside of the fuel flap to the left. It will have fallen down, inside of the wheel arch behind the trim. Pull off the inside of the trim enough to get your hand up behind it (hurts) You will find a cable (to the top left) pull it out from behind the trim and push the plunger to release the door lock.

The drivers door lock has started to get a bit stiff recently so we decided to spray it with WD40 and since then it has gone all loose and doesn't unlock the door properly, you really have to mess about with the key turning it both ways to get it to unlock, sometimes you have to unlock the rear doors and open them to get the drivers door to unlock.
This is also the case now with all the door locks except driver's door that opens occasionally!! This happened about 3 years ago & all locks were replaced including petrol cap, it has now happened again! Surely keys / locks should work for more than a few years. Is replacing all the locks again the only option?
